This was basically Japan Studio’s attempt at a JRPG franchise, and it wasn’t a bad attempt, all things considered. The one we will take a look at today though is the White Knight Chronicles games, which, much like other franchises that Japan Studio came up with – sort of took hold and sort of didn’t. Almost every genre has been touched on – to a vast range of results. The list of interesting games that came out of Sony in Japan Studios collaborations is one of the more eclectic ones you’ll ever see. With Japan Studio and Sony going through its latest round of restructuring as of late, it’s not a bad time to take a look back at some of the interesting wild card games that Japan Studio has come out with over the last many years. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M graphics adapter is powerful enough too. The Omen 15 runs Intel’s Core i7-4720HQ processor, with 8 GB RAM. It is not a 4K screen, which is ideal for a gaming laptop. Additionally, IPS screens are great to edit photos and videos on. Good brightness and contrast levels mean it is efficient in darker shooting games. It provides wide viewing angles and reproduces colours well. The Omen’s IPS screen is one of the best we have seen on laptops this year. The touch pad is wide, providing a bit more space for horizontal swipe gestures. This will take getting used to, but the good part is that the individual keys are built well. The keyboard has been spaced out luxuriously-each key is slightly farther from the natural range of the fingers as you type. The lid has a sophisticated groove design, but can collect dust very easily. The keyboard and the speaker chambers on either side of it have LED illumination-preloaded software allows you to customize the colours and intensity of each zone. HP has given the two-display hinge a unique colour treatment, which makes it look similar to how a piece of metal looks when it’s heated. And the wedge design makes it look thinner than it is. The Omen 15 isn’t as thick as gaming laptops tend to be. |
